We’re kicking things off in style: the first two episodes will be available straight away on premiere day, followed by a new episode every week – so you’ll always have something to look forward to. About Crossroad Springs
Crossroad Springs takes you to Red Oak Ranch, home of the Hamilton family. Father Willis Hamilton runs the ranch together with his sister Amy. He dreams of passing it down to his children, but daughter Janet and son James have very different ambitions. Janet works as a doctor in her own clinic, while James has become a pastor. Much to their father’s disappointment, both have left ranch life behind.
When Willis falls from his horse, James returns home to help out. His arrival sparks tension between father and son, but also leads to unexpected reunions – including one with his old flame Maggie, who owns the local café. Meanwhile, Janet faces her own emotional struggles, especially when a long-standing feud with neighbour Daniel Newman takes an unexpected turn.
Family, loyalty, old rivalries and a touch of romance – Crossroad Springs has all the ingredients for a heartfelt, emotional drama.
Who’s Who in Crossroad Springs
In Crossroad Springs, you’ll meet a mix of new characters and plenty of familiar faces. Many of the actors will be well known to WithLove viewers from previous favourites like The Princess and the Bodyguard and Picture Perfect Romance. That makes getting to know the Hamilton family – and their neighbours – even more special.
James Hamilton – played by Jonathan Stoddard
James is a pastor who returns to the ranch after many years away to support his family. There, he comes face to face once again with Maggie, his childhood sweetheart. Will James find his true calling on the ranch? Jonathan Stoddard is a familiar face on WithLove – you may have seen him in The Soulmate Search and Love on Retreat.
Willis Hamilton – played by Shaun Johnston
Willis is the proud father of James and Janet, and the long-time owner of the ranch. Determined to keep it in the family, his stubbornness often gets in the way. Shaun Johnston will be instantly recognisable to Heartland fans.
Daniel Newman – played by Jesse Hutch
The Hamiltons’ neighbour and long-time rival. The feud between the families goes back generations, but perhaps things are starting to change… Jesse Hutch has starred in Love’s Last Resort and Farmer Seeking Love – and let’s be honest, he wears that cowboy hat rather well! 🤠
Janet Hamilton – played by Emily Alatalo
Does Janet Hamilton look familiar? That’s because Emily Alatalo also starred in the hit WithLove film The Princess and the Bodyguard! Janet is a doctor with her own clinic and works closely with her love interest, Dr Eric Randal. She’s built a life away from the ranch, but the pull of family remains strong.
Fun fact: in real life, Emily Alatalo is dating the actor who plays Dr Eric Randal!
Amy Hamilton – played by Kate Drummond
Amy helps Willis run the ranch and does her best to keep the family together. Kate Drummond is another familiar face – she also appeared in several episodes of Heartland.
